First-Hand
a chance to pause and reset
Multisensory experience, 2026
By Studio More-Than-That
First-Hand is a 90-minute multisensory experience that invites participants to put down their screens and pick up something rarer - the full attention of their senses.
In groups of up to ten, participants are led through a world of touch, smell, taste, sound, and guided imagination. Blindfolded and held by an original audio narrative, they are carried into embodied stories from the animal kingdom — choosing the food they want to store for winter; becoming an elephant migrating with the herd; and holding the beating heart of the Antarctic in their hands.
First-Hand is the product of three years of international artistic research — developed at residencies in Czechia, Norway, and Italy — by an interdisciplinary team of artists from India, Lebanon, and Germany.
